Delicious wood oven pizza, authentic ingredients. The crust was perfect, the indigents were fresh, the cheese was amazing... Fast service. Order ahead as they don’t have any slices ready to go. Lots of options for places to sit inside or outside. They also have videos of Italy playing in the seating areas which was a fun touch.

Passing through Parry Sound. We checked Trip Advisor and number one is Maurizio’s. It is well deserved. The charisma of Maurizio and (forgive me for forgetting your name) his wife is the centerpiece of this restaurant. A harbinger of what’s to come. I ordered a Canadian and Hawaiian pizza and a Raptor Calzone. Also three canoli’s. On my honeymoon we went to Italy and our first stop was Florence. My wife an I used to have “second dinner” every night at a pizzeria in the Piazza del Duomo. Biting into Maurizio’s brought me back to that. 10/10. Just delicious. We were looking for a place to dine in after two days in a cottage on Ahmic lake and Yelp brought us to Maurizio’s. It was a small pizza place before we say the cozy dining area. It’s an Italian family’s family business. We ordered 8 pizzas and the lady helped us change the tables and seats so we all fit in. She was super friendly and patient with us. Explaining every single pizza with details and helping us choose The food was great and we’ll all enjoyed it. We got hot cocoa’s on the house after lunch which was quite a treat! It was like a hidden gem! We stayed probably an hour and a half as it was such a beautiful and welcoming place. And the owners made it even better. I’d definitely go back if I am in the neighborhood again!

One of the best authentic Italian pizza joint in Parry Sound. Chet/owner himself prepares every pizza and bakes it in wood fire oven to perfection. Their pizza recipes have wide range (includes vegetarian and vegan options), but now all recipes are available, as many of them are sessional. Only thing I didn’t like much is there is very less seating options (as on indoor dining) Pricing is on higher side, but worth visiting this place if in and around Muskoka.

Excellent food!! Something to remember and come back for! We drove for hours to catch this pizza and my husband remembered it after tasting it four years ago...it’s that good! Such unique flavours and you can really taste the freshness!! We loved the experience and the service was excellent as well!

We stopped in for the first time today and were completely delighted. The pizza is phenomenal ! The crust is a family recipe originating in Sicily and handed down through multiple generations. It’s thin, crispy and baked to perfection. All of the toppings were delicious and in perfect balance. The house-made tomato sauce was bursting with flavour. The eating space has a comfortable lounge-like feeling. We’ve had pizza in Italy and can honestly say this is as good or better. No need to spend your money going to Italy in search of fantastic pizza. Go to Maurizio’s instead !
